TALENT OR NO TALENT?

Looking through ben yeo's photo at friendster. I really think that having passion in something is really important. Like how he loves dancing so much, mixing with different people and having to share the same interest. It's really interesting and exciting about how you get professional training and at the same time, gaining more stage experience by performing and taking pictures with different costumes, posing with make-up, etc. Life will be so much fun like being on a roller coaster rides rather than just, plain and suffering from boredom while waiting for time to pass quickly. All of these I think is really memorable. Like how so many pictures are stored inside my computer and I wouldn't want to delete them, because when you look through them, you will think back of the past. The ones which breaks my heart was those pictures I took when I was in secondary one. I have them posted up in my blog a few years back, but I think many are still being accidentally deleted and being as a sec 1 student, I wouldn't know anything about backing up files and documents and restoring them back to my pc. I miss my center-parting hair and those pictures I took with some teachers who had left to other schools and with alot of my friends who actually told me that my hair looks like curry puff and curly like some uncle in the coffee shop and calling me to go for rebonding which I think that is to a little extreme. Meiqi and Taiyang sure going to laugh at me when they are reading this! Haha.

So if you ever asked me if I have a talent, I would say I don't have one! Really. So let's say I am in a poly, doing my tutorial homework with a group of friends, then suddenly fionaxie and dasmondkoh walked pass me, thinking that
' eh, that guy not bad leh, can be the hunks of the top 3 and maybe representing (let's say - singapore poly ) in the finals '. Okay, I am sorry but I am trying to be sarcastic now! So when they asked me, what talent do I have. I will be like ?????? speechless. Because I would most probably says that my talent is singing, and when I starts to sing, I think it is the awful voice you have ever heard while the windows are all cracking and the birds stops chirping and flew away. And you will possibly hate me for being such an ass on a national tv as compared to those who can like really show something presentable within minutes. Seriously, I am impressed by those who are born with natural talent, or in fact, they have interest since young till now. Like playing saxophone, violin, piano, dancing, and even hosting. Talking while many pairs of eyes staring at you on the stage isn't easy, and at the same time being confident of yourself and not letting people knowing that you're nervous and presenting your best-self. Even for me who have public speaking experience through secondary school life, I think it is still all right if you are well-prepared and trained. But once you fumble, that's when you get so freaked out and couldn't calm yourself down. Hosting is another talent, I would say. Or why do we have this media industry like broadcasting, where they are finding people with good hosting talent with a great voice. Like how Leow is trying and working hard towards being a deejay in 91.3fm.

After all, I think talent is one thing that cannot be replaced. For example, sales management. If you are someone who are as talkative as me, and are very good at introducing products to people out there, that's a talent too. As compared to those who are either timid and quiet ones, speaks softly, didn't socialise with people and being anti-social. I think we are much better than them isn't it? Training workshops about being successful all this would help them to boost up their confidence and step out of their wonderland to the real world. However, in my point of view, the impact is not as much as compared to born natural talent who are really good at talking. Like how me myself couldn't dance well, I need to spend a long period of time to even memorize the dance steps, and being so clumsy infront of everyone. But as compared to yeo, he can just memorize the dance steps like meggie mee - instant and fast. And can just dance with the instructor. I know people tried to imitate him, but you can't. Everyone is different, it is just something that is inside in each and everyone of us to see if we want to show it out.

Okay, I really have no idea why am I typing this now.
Just pending random thoughts or maybe I am just too tired.
